We collaborated with Studio Koto to design the sonic identity and final mix for a series of brand videos for Microsoft Security. The goal was to build a deep sense of trust and safety through a clean, unified sound.
We moved away from cold, retro tech tropes in favor of a warm, organic approach. By using soft ambient pads and minimal textures, we built an elegant sonic environment that communicates security naturally.
The scanning sound was a key element—designed as a soft, steady pulse paired with a constant low drone to highlight important visual moments without making the mood feel dark. The final mix is completely non-intrusive, working quietly in the background to be felt rather than forced.
