We crafted the sonic identity for the “MTV Hits” open bumper, delivering a high-energy sonic treatment deeply rooted in Latin American regional youth culture.

The brief called for a distinct cumbia identity, which we brought to life by blending traditional cumbia rhythms with a heavy RKT production style. The track’s melodic core revolves around the iconic, sharp Lead synth patch of the vintage Korg M1, establishing an unmistakable club energy from the first note.

To mirror the surreal, fast-paced collage animation, we seamlessly integrated vocal chops and dynamic sound effects, ensuring the track hits with maximum cultural relevance and technical precision.
